Parvale® highly values your privacy. Therefore, we process only data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services of Parvale® made available thereon. The effective date of these terms is 18/06/2025; upon the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what data about you is collected by us, what this data is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you have provided to us.

Webshop software
Shopify
Our webshop is built using Shopify's e-commerce platform, which also provides the hosting for our website. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services is processed by Shopify to provide us with (technical) support and hosting; they will never use your data for any other purpose beyond providing their services to us. Based on the agreement we have concluded with them (Shopify's Data Processing Addendum), Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures, including SSL encryption. Shopify uses cookies to enable core webshop functionality, such as your shopping cart, checkout, and fraud prevention; some of this may involve technical, non-personal information about your device and browser.
Email and mailing lists
Klaviyo
Our website uses Klaviyo, a third party that handles email traffic originating from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via Klaviyo's servers. Klaviyo will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website, you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. If you click on this, you will no longer receive emails from our website. This can severely reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is stored securely by Klaviyo. Klaviyo uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. Klaviyo reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share information with third parties.
Kinsta
We use Kinsta's services for our regular business email correspondence. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Kinsta does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email correspondence confidentially.
Payment processors
Klarna
To process (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the Klarna platform. Klarna processes your name, address, and place of residence details, as well as your payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Klarna has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Klarna reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the case of an application for deferred payment (credit facility), Klarna shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Klarna's services for which it engages third parties. PostNL
When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out deliveries. To do so, it is necessary for us to share your name, address, and city/town details with PostNL. PostNL uses this data solely for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.
DHL

MoneyBird
We use the services of MoneyBird for the maintenance of our administration and accounting. We share your name, address, and place of residence details, as well as details regarding your order. This data is used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely; MoneyBird has taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use. MoneyBird is bound by a duty of confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. MoneyBird does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.
External sales channels
Bol.com
We sell (a portion of) our items via the Bol.com platform. If you place an order via this platform, Bol.com shares your order and personal data with us. We use this data to process your order. We handle your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.
Purpose of data processing
General purpose of processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time – other than at your request – we will ask for your explicit permission to do so. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality pursuant to the agreement between them and us, or by an oath or legal obligation.
Automatically collected data
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (for example, your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.
Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations
In certain cases, Parvale® may be required by law to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such a case, we are compelled to share your data, but we will resist this within the limits of the law.
Retention Periods
We retain your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we retain your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also interpret this as a request to be forgotten. This also means that we will not retain your data for longer than two years from the last contact moment or transaction, unless there is a legal justification for doing so. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data; we will therefore retain this data for the duration of the applicable period. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have created in connection with your order.
Your rights
Pursuant to applicable Dutch and European legislation, you, as a data subject, have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on our behalf. We explain below what these rights are and how you can exercise them. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send transcripts and copies of your data to the email address already known to us. Should you wish to receive the data at a different email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We maintain a record of processed requests; in the case of a request to be forgotten, we record anonymized data. You will receive all transcripts and copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems. You have the right at all times to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.

You always have the right to access the data that we process (or have processed) and that relates to your person or is traceable to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data to the email address known to us, along with an overview of the processors holding this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data.

You always have the right to have the data that we process (or have processed) and that relates to your person or is traceable to you, amended. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data has been amended.
Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the processing of data that we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or is traceable to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data that we process (or have processed) and that relates to your person or is traceable to you, transferred to another party. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send copies of all data concerning you that we have processed, or that have been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties, to the email address known to us. In such a case, we will most likely no longer be able to continue providing the service, as the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
Right of objection and other rights
In appropriate cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Parvale®. If you object, we will immediately cease data processing pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or duplicates of the data that we process (or have processed) available to you and subsequently permanently cease processing. Furthermore, you have the right not to be subjected to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. Google Analytics
Via our website, cookies are placed by the American company Google as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and obtain reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required to provide access to this data pursuant to applicable laws and regulations. We collect information about your browsing behavior and share this data with Google. Google may interpret this information in conjunction with other datasets and thereby track your movements on the internet.
